Give your teammates lasting context
Memory keeps useful facts, preferences, and decisions available beyond one exchange. Use it for information that should shape future work, and review what has actually been saved.
Ask for a specific memory
Remember that our weekly product brief uses three sections: customer evidence, decisions, and next actions. This is our standard format until I change it.
Keep the fact clear and include its scope. A teammate-specific procedure belongs with that teammate; context intended for the wider workspace belongs in the shared memory area where available.
Review and edit
Open a teammate's settings, choose Knowledge, and select Memory. Open a document to inspect or edit its contents, then save. The document list displays a revision, and saved documents can be exported as Markdown.
Shared memory documents are available through workspace memory settings. They are separate from an individual teammate's memory documents.
Correct outdated context
Explain what changed and identify the earlier fact. Review the saved result after a correction. Familiarity cards for saved preferences can also provide Forget and Undo controls.
Memory retrieval can depend on the workspace's available memory features. For a task where exact wording matters, include the source directly instead of relying only on recall.
Use skills for reusable methods and files for the source documents and deliverables themselves.
