Create and shape your teammates
A teammate is a persistent member of your workspace with a name, role, conversation, and remembered context. Give each teammate a responsibility you can describe in a sentence.
Create a specialist
Use the new-agent form, or ask an existing teammate to create one. Include a name, role, and instructions. Specify a first task if you want the new teammate to start immediately.
Create a teammate named Riley for reviewing customer research. Riley should separate direct evidence from interpretation and finish with a concise recommendation. Do not start a task yet.
Edit a profile in conversation
Ask a teammate to change its own name, title, or description. The saved change should appear in its profile and, for a name change, in the conversation header and teammate list.
For persistent behavior, open the teammate settings and edit Instructions. Use the name and title fields there when you prefer a form.
Choose a computer
Team shares the team computer with other teammates using that mode. Private gives the teammate a separate computer. Choose based on whether the work needs a shared desktop or a separate environment.
Keep roles focused
A persistent teammate is useful for an ongoing responsibility. A short helper used inside a task does not become a new teammate in the navigation. For collaboration among your existing teammates, create a group conversation.
