Connect the apps your work depends on

Connected apps let teammates use the actions exposed by an account, such as retrieving information or updating a supported service. Available apps and actions are shown in the app catalog.

Connect an account

1. Open the apps or plugins panel and choose the app.
2. Follow its connection flow and finish sign-in.
3. Return to the app details and confirm the account says Connected.
4. Expand Available actions to see what that account can do.

A teammate can also present a connection card when your task needs an app that is not ready.

Use multiple accounts

Select Connect another account to add a second account for the same app. Give accounts recognizable names, such as “Company GitHub” and “Personal GitHub.” State which account a task should use.

Accounts are managed individually. If one needs attention, inspect that account's status; another working account for the same app can still be used. Disconnect this account affects the selected account.

Start with a concrete request

If an expected action is missing, inspect Available actions and the connection status. A successful sign-in does not add operations that the app connection does not support.
