# Go from app context to a useful result

Connected work starts with the correct account and a specific source. Confirm those before asking a teammate to draft, update, or send anything.

## Check the connection

Open the app details, select the intended account, and confirm its status and available actions. Rename similar accounts so your instructions can identify the correct one clearly.

## Begin with retrieval

> **Try this**
> Use my company account to find the recent documents for Project North. List the matching documents and their last-updated dates, then summarize the open decisions using only those sources.

Inspect the matches before allowing the task to expand into edits. If a source is missing, provide the exact link or narrow the search.

## Specify the next action

For a draft, state the audience and output format. For an update, identify the exact destination and changes. For a sent message, include the recipient and the content or purpose you authorize.

When an approval request appears, review the proposed action and respond in the card. If the app account needs reconnection, repair that account and continue the existing task.

## Keep a reusable method

Save the general approach as a skill. Keep the chosen account, project, destination, and timing in the task or routine that uses it.
